Star Thing Valley

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

This policy is for Washington consumers, under Washington's My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373.020). It explains how Star Thing LLC (Star Thing Valley) handles consumer health data. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.

We don't ask for health information. Please don't send it to us in forms, texts, emails or calls.

Consumer health data we collect, and why

We collect consumer health data only when someone gives it to us on their own, for example:

We use it only to talk with you about your property, to confirm who can sell, and to close the sale. We don't use it for marketing, and we don't use it to infer anything about you.

Where it comes from

Who we share it with

We share consumer health data only with the title company, escrow company or closing agent and the attorneys handling the sale, and only what they need to confirm who can sell and to close. We don't send it to investors or assignees, and we never sell it. Title companies may include recorded documents, such as a recorded death certificate, in the closing papers they give the buyer.

Categories we share: health information that appears in death certificates and probate or court papers. We don't share a health reason for selling that you mention to us.

Third parties that may receive it

We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we have your consumer health data and to see it, to delete it, or to withdraw any consent you gave. Email [email protected] with "Health data request" in the subject, or call or text (917) 920-5868. We may verify your identity using information we already have.

Appeals: if we deny your request, reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject. If you're not satisfied with the result, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
